In the sixties and seventies recreational sailing was booming business. Entire families went out sailing together several times a year. The IF-Boat was one of those boats that was built in Sweden at Marieholms Bruk, designed by Tord Sunden. He was inspired by the design of the wooden Nordic Folkboat. The advantage of polyester was obvious. More than 3400 IF-Boats were built between 1967 and 1984. Many of them are still sailing today, primarily in Sweden, Denmark, Germany and the Netherlands. They are still very popular due to its timeless design and because of its excellent sailing capacities. The boat was constructed with an S-spant which offers great stability and safeness. However, the interior of many boats has not been changed since the seventies. This is where we step in and introduce – The Kuiper-IF

We want to make Jachtwerf Kuiper known as the company that has a high expertise on the selling and refit of IF-Boat. Our choice is to continue the heritage of IF by:
– Repairing and maintenance of existing IF-boats
– Selling original pre-owned IF-boats
– Brokerage of IF-boats that are for sale
– But mainly building the KUIPER IF.
